STEP #2 KNOWING YOUR LIMITATIONS!

Maybe this seems a bit obvious or plain simple, but just because you know that something isn’t right, that doesn’t mean that you know how to make it right yourself. In simpler terms , knowing that something is broken isn’t the same thing as knowing how to fix it.  What makes us smart and different is knowing who can!  Our life is jacked up without Jesus ( THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FIX US) become smarter today by letting him work on you!  TRUST ME THINGS GET FIXED ALOT QUICKER IN THE HANDS OF A PROFESSIONAL!

STEP #1  UNDERSTANDING WHO GOD IS!

A. GOD IS A GIVER——-  Luke 11:10-13 “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your little boy asks for a serving of fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? If your little girl asks for an egg, do you trick her with a spider? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing—you’re at least decent to your own children. And don’t you think the Father who conceived you in love will give the Holy Spirit when you ask him?”

B. GOD IS A REWARDER——– HEBREWS 11;6 “By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. “They looked all over and couldn’t find him because God had taken him.” We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken “he pleased God.” It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him”.

IT TAKES FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD, AND CONSISTENT STUDY IN GOD’S WORD TO REVEAL GOD’S TRUE NATURE TO YOU.

There is UNLIMITED potential within the people in your church who know Christ.

People want hope!

People want to change!

People want to LIVE!

They need to hear YOU tell them about CHRIST!

more staff = fewer volunteers

lack of planning = financial challenges

more meetings = less ministry

unclear vision = packed ministry calendar

packed ministry calendar = volunteer burnout

more announcements = less ministry engagement

more ministries = more announcements

fewer people inviting friends = smaller crowds

lack of added value = fewer people inviting friends

fewer constraints = less creativity

same methods = same results

We must understand as believers that God has a purpose behind every problem and opposition.  He uses circumstances to develop things in us, God depends on circumstances as well as the Word of God to transform our mindset and character!  2 Corinthians 4:17(NIV) reads: “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”

So even though your going through some hard times know this,  pressure and heat burn out impurities in coal to make it a beautiful diamond.

Romans 8:28(NIV) ” And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

1 Corinthians 9:25-27

²⁵Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 

²⁶Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 

²⁷No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

In life we face things that we have no control of, what we must realize is that this race we run is not given to the fastest runner but to the one who has the mentality that no matter what they can not lose!  

After looking at animal planet the other night i discovered that like lions, we to have killer instinct!  Lions are instinctive and natural killers, but they have to practice it over and over again to develop the skill for it!  

Even the best of the best have to work at what is even natural to be the best in that field!  Never settle for average.  Jesus did not get nailed to the Cross for us to just survive in this life!  His instructions to us in Genesis chapter 1 clearly states we are to have DOMINION! You cant have Dominion without having the KILLER INSTICT!
